Tulia

Tulia had a nice ‘feel’ to it.  Some activity – but also some abandoned buildings.  The streets were brick – which we saw fairly frequently in this part of the Panhandle.  There were a couple of old theaters and some murals.  I liked the one that had us looking in on a scene from an old-time drug store.  Reminds of when I used to go to the drug store to get a cherry vanilla phosphate.  Also of interest was the Ozark Trail Marker.  We saw a few of these along our travels in this area of Texas
