What another great moderne courthouse.  The exterior decorative friezes were very nice.  And probably some of the greatest patriotic eagles  were found outside on the corners.  Inside, the ceiling artworks were stunning.  The entrance lobby was large, open and marbled with the painted ceilings.  The courtroom continued this theme – with painted ceilings and 3 of the greek goddesses painted on the wall behind the bench.  The lights throughout were great period pieces.  Though this courthouse is in great shape, there is a definite need for restoration.  Some of the photos were taken to show that need.  The moderne style is so clean – yet inspired by so many highlights that its easy to like.  This courthouse demonstrates that on a very high level.  Put this one on your must see list!
