Bee County Courthouse, Texas – Being Renovated

county Seat – Beeville, Texas

Built – 1912

Style – Beaux Arts

Architect – Stephenson & Heldenfelds

Pictures taken – April 23, 2005

Impressions – well, definitely have to come back and redo this one.  It looks like a beauty, but it was all wrapped in scaffolding and could not be entered.  It was under extensive renovation.  Still, from these pictures – I think you can get a feel for what an outstanding building this is.  I’m exceptionally impressed with the tower (standard beaux arts) and the golden Lady of Justice on top.
