This courthouse appears to be recently renovated. the trim is freshly painted and the windows look new.  The trim around the building sports some repeating marks of O and X?  or maybe an X with a line through it.  Not too much remarkable here – though the entrance is distinctive.  Inside, there’s a little more to take in.  the courtroom is large, lots of wood and the seats look original.  The ceilings and the lights in the hallway also add the flavor you’d expect from something built in the 1920’s.  This county was once wholly within the XIT ranch in the 1880’s.
