When researching the area for what to see and do – I was really pleasantly surprised to find that there is an actual prairie dog town – IN Lubbock. A really special place to visit – and so easy to do. And they’re so CUTE!! You can spend a few minutes or a few hours – your call. But don’t miss this living animal sanctuary.
