We really wanted to visit a winery on this trip. We settled for an evening at Trilogy Cellars in Levelland. Nice tasting/sitting rooms. Nice atmosphere. And there was a jazz trio providing the entertainment. Evidently, Trilogy Cellars has something every Friday and Saturday evenings. Nice idea for a night out if you’re in the Lubbock area. The desire to visit a winery around here came from the fact that this area of Texas – Llano Estacado, is the largest producer of wine grapes in the state. There are 4 or 5 wineries around Lubbock – but the bulk of the grapes go to other parts of the state. If you enjoy the wineries around Fredricksburg, chances are most of the grapes came from this area of Texas.
