What a lovely and solid courthouse.  This courthouse was constructed after the great Paris fire of 1916 – that destroyed most of Paris.  Restoration took place in 2005 and the result has the interior shining again.  The exterior is impressive as well – but being on a side street – the setting is not the best for showing off all its’ glory.  The earlier courthouse stood on the town square, but was destroyed by the 1916 fire.  Now you find a fountain in its place.
